We care for children aged 30 months to 5 years at our full day preschool Oceanside location at #300-758 Harbourside Drive, North Vancouver. Our Reggio Emilia inspired program encourages growth & learning through exploration, community, and nature.

We believe every child is wholly competent and has an inherent ability to learn about the world in their own unique way. As caregivers at Olive Grove Childcare, it is our role to listen and follow in the child’s pathways of discovery.

Children are encouraged to work together to explore materials and test out their theories in a rich environment that creates new understandings and collaboration.
Our licensed preschool program offers group size varies per location. Preschool children follow a flexible schedule which is catered to the child’s interests and is documented through Lillio.

Manager
Teaching has always been Leticia’s passion and she believes that every child is unique and capable, and that every child learns at their own pace and time. As an educator Leticia strives to provide children with learning opportunities that foster creativity and wonder.

Aline Kopittke

Preschool Program - Floor Supervisor
Aline was motivated by her experiences as a teenager volunteering to work with special needs children. After completing her education in Psychology she made the switch to Pedagogy and discovered her unbeknownst passion of working with children.
When she moved to Canada from Brazil, she was introduced to the importance of respecting, and having a broader vision of how children are intelligent and capable. In Aline’s free time she likes to paint and try new techniques.

Aline is a dedicated preschool teacher with 5 years of experience, ignited by a lifelong passion for education and nurturing young minds. Her journey began as a young volunteer, engaging with children from diverse backgrounds in countries such as Brazil, South Africa, Mozambique, Greece, and Turkey. Aline firmly believes that education has the power to shape a brighter future for the next generation.
